The Winchester Hospital in Winchester, Massachusetts, is a remarkable hospital in the northwestern part of the United States. The hospital provides hospital services and home healthcare to the community in Winchester, Woburn, Reading, Wilmington, North Reading, Stoneham, Burlington, Billerica, Medford, Malden, Wakefield, Tewksbury and several other nearby towns.

It had a modest beginning in 1912 when the Winchester Visiting Nurse Association opened the first Winchester Hospital. There was a 12-bed hospital on Washington Street. When the need for a bigger hospital became evident, a 2.2 ha plot of property was purchased until 1914, which was acquired in the city and donated by a group of people.

On 18 May 1917 a new hospital with 44 hospital places was opened. Meanwhile, the hospital has grown to 206 hospital bed places and is still one of the leading clinics in Massachusetts.
