The Dutchess Stadium, constructed in 1994, is home to the Hudson Valley Renegades, the Penn League Single A Baseballs and many other popular club venues. There is a large range of activity in these facilities: swim, boat trips, picnics, walking, camp, mini gulf, gazebo, playgrounds und balls. Substantial further financial enhancements will be made to the properties in order to improve the attractiveness and access to the amenities provided and at the same time to expand the properties recently.
A new, state-of-the-art artificial pitch was erected in the Dutchess Stadium in early 2014. The 5 mile section of the route, from Amenia to Wassaic railway Station, was opened in 2005. $2 million government subsidy was received to help build the Millerton Nord Columbia Country trailer. Grafschaft has an arrangement with the State of New York to run state ownership of the former Hudson River Psychiatric Center as a Riverfront County/ State park in the city of Poughkeepsie just North of Marist College.
The Quiet Cove Riverfront is equipped with non-motorized launch sites, barbecue areas, pick nicks and angling spots, open toilets, a shore level with sun loungers and highland car parks. Open from April to October, this temporary garden was opened to the general public in October 2015 after a major renovation. The Bowdoin Gardens, a 301 hectare landscaped garden with views of the Hudson River, offers 4 outdoor gazebos and Pavilion 5, situated at the top of the hillside with views of the Hudson River.
Pavillon 5 provides cooking and toilet services, is air-conditioned/heated and can be rented from the end of March to the beginning of December. You can reserve a pavilion using the on-line booking system. A number of new children's playgrounds have been added to the grounds and a water-spray garden is open every morning from Memorial to Labor Days from 11 am to 6 pm.
Maple Knoll Lodge provides accommodation for 24 persons with full equipped cuisine and terrace overlooking the Hudson River. Up to 160 persons can be accommodated in the auditorium of the community centre, which has equipped kitchens for celebrations, marriages and other occasions. Finally, Wilcox Park has a new 18-hole disc golf course and a 5 hectare bathing pond open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The 615 -hectare large garden has an excellent system of walking paths. There are 4 gazebos in this complex which can be reserved via the on-line booking system. Hall C is currently the biggest hall in Wilcox Parc, with kitchens and toilets and a great panoramic sea front from its position on top of the hills.
