It offers guests from near and far the possibility to enjoy the best dishes of the top cooks and caterers of the area at a bargain price. One of the country's biggest weekly restaurant venues, HVRW covers 115 leagues across Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster and Sullivan County.

Featuring a wider variety of meals and gastronomic facilities offering a dine-and-stay lifestyle with first-class local dining, this fall's edition includes the Roundhouse in Beacon, which serves the popular US cuisine of Chef Terrance Brennan, such as his trendy whole roast cabbage, as well as a choice of artisanal drinks;

BV's Grill at The Time Nyack Hôtel - a classical steak house and HVRW rookie - where guests eat on steak, shellfish and other barbecued meals, with the kind permission of Executive Chef Joseph Walsh from the Hudson Valley; Brunch House Restaurant at Borland House Inn in Montgomery - another new HVRW chef Anna Frume is offering a range of Hudson Valley style seasons meals from farmyard to dinner; and the Beacon Hotell in Beacon, whose Sunday brunch includes the exquisite meals of chef Rio Alexander Hendrix.

At the HVRW, attending diners will be offering fixed three-course meals at $29.95 and lunch at $20.95, with 90 per cent of diners offering meals and drinks with local cuisine. HVRW last year earned an estimate of $10.2 million in revenues and more than $844,000 in taxes, which includes an annual growth rate of 25-38 per cent during the show, according to a poll of attending caterers.
