Greenville-Spartanburg International is the largest regional international aerodrome, almost half way between Greenville and Spartanburg in the Greer suburb.

Upstate is part of the much wider Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson-Asheville marketing area, which stretches to the west of North Carolina and the north-east of Georgia.
