7 of our two undergraduates from BA (Hons) Mode design, BA (Hons) Mode Communications and Promotion and BA (Hons) Mode Management have recently come back from a term abroad at FIT with new inspirations and confident. Located in the fashionable inner city of Manhattan, FIT is focused on the arts, businesses, design, communications and technologies associated with the global label.
Katie Sayer, BA (Hons) studied Advertising Marketing Communication, which came very close to her study at Nottingham Trent University (NTU). NTU Modedesign graduate Sophie Watson adds: "I think I have learned that I should have more confidence in myself.
Valentine to New York as a designer say good-bye to Fashion Week
The last outing of Fashion Week started on Wednesday with a star-studded show at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre at Lincoln Center. It was Calvin Klein who chose to go public the evening before on the American stock exchange. Cors said he was inspiration from his home town of New York, sending modells onto the runway with minimum make-up and daring printing, while actors Blake Lively and Zendaya, both clad in shades of amber.
Raf Simons, Calvin Klein's head of creativity, said he honored America with appocalyptic fashions to showcase liberty. The actresses Margot Robbie, Nicole Kidman and Laura Dern seamed the first line as modells in metal clothes and accessoires strutting along a track full of popcorns. The New York Mode Week will end on Wednesday night with a show at Park Avenue Armory.
Fashionistsas will travel to New York for a whole sabbatical.
After New York, London is the second most popular hotspot for the world's super-rich
London's position as a hotspot for the super-rich was reaffirmed after coming second after New York in a Knight Frank asset index. It ranked San Francisco and Los Angeles third and Los Angeles third, respectively, in terms of the assets, investments and recreational opportunities offered by the world' s citys.
The highest number of homes in New York earned more than $250,000, with more than 1,160,000 in this income group. The second-biggest city on this scale was Los Angeles, with over 637,700 employees who earn at least $250,000. Mr Liam Bailey, Vice President, Real Estate, Knight Frank, said:
