What's the weather like in New York in November? What's to be worn?
It is a good time of the year to come and see the Big Apple, as the weather is still quite mellow and there are several great things happening in the city this time. Autumn is close by early this months or shortly after its top colour and a trip to Central Park is recommended, but many will loose their leaf by the end of the months.

New York's November weather is known for sinking temperature, but without the persistent freezing periods that can happen during the winters. In the early afternoons of this monthly the temperature is still quite moderate; mostly in the top 50''s f to near 60 f (approx. 15C) with night low in the middle of the 40''s f (7-8C).
Toward the end of this monthly the high day-terms will have dropped into the top 40''s f to near 50 f (9-10 C), with night-deeps mostly in the middle to top 30's f (2-3 C). On 3-5 days this months, anticipate the temperature to drop to 32f (0 C) or less, especially towards the end of this months.
Please take clothing suitable for both warm and cool weather and best layered. It is a good plan to wear some heavier pullovers and at least a moderate sweater or cardigan, especially in the second half of this months.
