Pastoral clinical training: full time summer internship The New York Presbyterian Hospital provides a full-time internship that takes a minimal of 400 assisted lessons of practical training and study. It concentrates on the areas of counseling, self-knowledge, human relations and service delivery. Courses offer a framework for reviewing pasteoral meetings, exploring patients and peers relations and deepening teaching through group and personal outreach.

There will be placements at four of the six major NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital sites. It' the location of Weill Cornell College. It is situated in the Washington Heights area of Manhattan and is also home to the four Columbia University faculties of medicine. This is a municipal hospital and one of the six major sites of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.

Our services include providing senior nursing in the intimacy of a municipal hospital. 11 week summer internship: $700 ($150 non-refundable down payment if the programme is accepted + $550 on the first date of the session, unless otherwise agreed with one of the CPE registrars). New York Presbyterian is offering a restricted number of grants to meet study fees.

Grant applications can be obtained from the Pastoral Care and Education Department. Their ecclesiastical organ or seminar may have the means to cover the cost of their clinical pastoral training, especially if they need to attend the CPE.

You must have volunteered 100 volunteering lessons in a children's ward for our internship and work placement programmes.

Will I need internship lessons for your internship? The 600-hour internship requires you to have done a 100-hour internship in a children's wards. Tell me about your internship programme. The 100-hour internship lasts over 13-week. As this is a shadow experiment, the aim is to improve the monitoring and evaluation abilities of our students before they complete an internship.

For a full 8-hour shifts per week, patients can count on being in our hospital under the care of a member of our children's ward or a member of the health group. Undergraduates will be asked to prepare each and every working session with objectives and issues and to work through their experience during the course of the internship with their clinician and meeting with a co-ordinator of the programme to review their weeklies and their choice of words.
