New England Maps

All parts of New England except the northwest Maine are reached by IHH. New England's largest north-south drive is 640 leagues from Greenwich, Connecticut, to Edmundston, at the northern tip of Maine. is 140 leagues across Massachusetts. These measurements do not cover most of Maine, which is greater than the other 5 states (New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut combined).

I-95 is the most important coast street. Coming from New York City, we travel through Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, to East Maine. Historical but slow coast street is Route 1 (Boston Post Road). The main internal roads are the I-91, which runs just off New Haven, CT, to the northern edge of the Vermont-Canada frontier, through the centre of Connecticut and Massachusetts and along the New Hampshire - Vermontjord.

An important east-west motorway is the I-90 (the Massachusetts Turnpike, or "Mass Pike", which runs right through the centre of Massachusetts. Refer to national road and motorway charts as well as city and community sites at CT, Maine, MA, NH, RI and VT.
