Lansing Lugnuts are an A-class ball club that belongs to the Toronto Blue Jays and is a Midwest Leagues player. They will play at the Cooley Law School Stadium (formerly known as Oldsmobile Park and renamed after the now disbanded General Motors Divison, which was established there), which opened in 1996.
This new name comes from a contract with the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing. The Cooley Law School stage is also home to Jackson Field, called Jackson Life Insurance, located in Lansing. More than 10,000 spectators can be accommodated in the arena, which is one of the most handicapped-accessible stadia in the state.
You won the 1997 and 2003 Midwest League Championship. Lugnuts have their own tune that is played immediately after the Swiss folk hymn with their little maskot Big Lug at every home boar.
