Municipal works - Parks:Wilcox Memorial Park
It is a family-friendly theme park with not only one but two central lakes! Take it easy while fishing from the "upper" smaller lakeshore or from a hired canoe. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day you can relish the bathing pond and the recreation area, see our bathing pond seasonal plan, the bathing pond is open from mid-June* from Memorial Day to Labor Day our sandy beaches are equipped with lifeguards, a bathing house is situated at Untersee.
Excuse me, no angling or boat trips permitted on the water - no outboard boat or fuel wood permitted. Pavillon C, located on the top of the hills overlooking the gardens and the bathing area, has equipped kitchens and en-suite bathroom, and marked car parks. Kindly note our conditions of participation for all our visitors.

Throughout the year, this impeccably maintained site has more than 5 mile of walking paths with picturesque views of Stissing Mountain and the Catskills.
No matter if you' re on a camp site, walking, birdwatching, fishing or looking for a location for your next events, the Wilcox Memorial Park is a place to be! Turn right at the roundabout and leave it at the Rte 28 and Rte 209 exits. Following the signposts to Kingston Rhinecliff Bridges, take the Hudson overpass. Turn right at the 1. set of lights (junction 9 & 9G) onto Rte 9 southbound.
Turn at the next traffic lights in the centre of Rheinebeck (Beekman Arms is on the right side) into Route 308 (W. Market St). Drive on 308 (about 6 miles) to Rock City, where it becomes Route 199. Drive about 5 mile on Route 199 until you see the Wilcox Park entry sign on the right.
From the Taconic State Parkway NORTH, take the Route 199 Red Hook/Pine Plains junction (Mile 67. 7.) and turn right from the junction onto Route 199 East. Turn right at the roundabout and leave it at the Rte 28 and Rte 209 exits. Following the signposts to Kingston Rhinecliff Bridges, take the Hudson overpass.

Continue for about 5 mile on Route 199 until you see the Wilcox Park driveway sign on your right. Taconic State Parkway SOUTH to Route 199 Red Hook/Pine Plains junction. Turn off the motorway at the junction onto Route 199 East.
