The Kingston Restaurant Week has been renamed and extended to Restaurant Week.

The big novelty is that Kingston Restaurant Week has been renamed Restaurant Week and extended to Montego Bay and Ocho Rios. The Gleaner Company and SSCo Events Management have teamed up again to present the fifth annual restaurant week from November 7 to 14, at which 45 of Jamaica's best dining venues will serve special three-course meals at significantly reduced rates.

Known as Kingston Restaurant Week, this year the organisers have extended the event to the towns on the northern shore of the islands and named it Restaurant Week. Kingston, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, Restaurant Week provide guests with more ways to enjoy one of the island's most famous cuisines. With at least a 30% rebate, the meals are all very tempting and provide guests with an accessible way to try out new places or go back to old favorites while making significant sums.

Each of the participant establishments offers a selection of pre-selected three-course-menu. There are three-course dinners (starter, entree and dessert) in one of three categories: "Delicious " menu cost $1,350, "Savory" $1,600, "Delectable" meal $3,000 and "Epicurean" experience are available for $3,500. Rates are per capita, excluding drinks, taxes and tips.

Restaurant Week will also feature another "After Hours" campaign, where guests of Restaurant Week will receive an "on the House" drink in the Kingston night clubs. "I am particularly pleased that the involvement of Ocho Rios and Montego Bay will allow more guests to participate in the "spice of our heritage" through our kitchen and the diversity of our restaurants," commented Stephanie Scott, Managing Director of SSCO.
