Get to know the cook! Koch, Matt Zoul. Mat was in Cleveland, Ohio. When he was 16, he started working in the grocery sector as a chef's assistant at a nearby Mountain Jack's Delicatessen. In a few years Matt was educated and upgraded to Line Cook. He had a model for his carreer in the steak house sector of gastronomy.

Soon Matt had the chance to qualify for a leading position in the new Carver's Steak & Chops under the direction of Mountain Jack. Two years later at Carver's, Matt took a job at Hyde Park Restaurants, trained with master chef Terry Hargis. Head chef Hargis and Matt vacated Hyde Park in 2005 to run the Shooters on the Water - Cleveland Flats supermarket.

Matt rejoined Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse in Beachwood, OH in 2008, where he worked as Sous Chef and finally Executive Chef. Throughout his career, Matt has educated tens of chefs, sous chefs, chefs and chefs in the arts of high-heat steaming for Hyde Park restaurants. "When you grill a Japanese wagyu style barbecue that cost almost fifty dollars a quid.... there's no room for mistakes," says Chef Matt.

Matt was named Executive Chef at Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse in Birmingham City in 2012. Head chef Zoul says he is in love with the Birmingham and the Detroit area is now at home.

Courses #1 (as part of the Prime Steakhouse Pittsburgh Restaurant Week Menus in Hyde Park): I was not asked to contribute by Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse or Pittsburgh Restaurant Week. I' m just a friendly Pittsburgh Nutritionist and Yogini who loves to share her foodies and yoga adventure with others! Two of my employees and I were back in the Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse (on the North Shore of Pittsburgh) for the Pittsburgh Restaurant Week!

Pittsburgh Restaurant Week is not familiar to you, there are several places in both winter and summer sittings. In addition to its standard meals, each restaurant also serves a Prix fix/multi-course dinner that ranges from $20-$35+ dollar for the full cost of the meals. It is intended to be an encouragement for guests to try out a new restaurant (and it is also a good opportunity for a restaurant to design new guests to come back for the full menu).
