Dual HVCC Credit Program

La Salle has launched a programme in 2009 to offer pupils more options for more than 20 elective subjects and computer sciences, physical sciences and mathematics classes. With the exception of physical sciences, these classes are additional to the elective and mathematics classes already provided by La Salle.

Some of our chosen undergraduates have the opportunity to study calculation on the La Salle campus or take the corresponding course at the HVCC. Calculation credits fo r students earning an A or Bi degree at HVCC are adopted at many universities, includ-ing RPI and Cornell. There is a constant change in the syllabus of science, with a new emphasis on alternative energies and nanosciences.

The HVCC is developing into a nationwide education guide in both areas. The admission of physicists to the HVCC not only equips our pupils with binary high schools and collegiate accreditations (8 credits), but also with a physical education syllabus that will prepare them better for the new age. To meet our HVCC programme, La Salle's timetable has been adapted to allow pupils to attend classes at the HVCC during the first or last time of the year.

Almost 80% of our senior citizens use this programme. With the exception of physical studies, HVCC undergraduates attend the course at their own cost. 50% of the course is paid by physicists. HVCC Dual Credit is open to qualifying candidates.
