Claiming a Life Experience Credit?

Please note: This programme is only open to enrolled student. We have developed the LifExperience Programme to offer enrolled undergraduates a way to obtain university loans. Skills from a mix of work experiences, non-credit classes, seminars and workshop can be converted into credits. By documenting your experiences and articulating the resulting lessons, you may be entitled to a benefit for your lifetime experiences.

You will be assessed by the academics in charge of your chosen course. Candidates are awarded an annual bonus of three to nine points on balance, but more is possible. The Life Experience Programme cannot evaluate every course and not every division takes part in it. Life Experience Cards can be assessed and awarded at the faculty's own judgement.

You should consult with a consultant at the Office of Education before applying to see if you are a good fit for the Life Experience Progam. Get an online catalogue and job applications from the Office for Continuing Education and Summer Meetings. The Life Experience Programme is only open to those who are enrolled in a course of study at Hudson Valley Community college.

Check the classes in your syllabus and check the course description against the skills you have acquired through your own personal experiences. For each course, the number of points awarded under the LifExperience program corresponds to the number of points included in the COLLECTOR.

Once we have received your proposal and CV, it will be passed on to the responsible head of division to see whether your creditworthiness claim is available or not. If you are interested in a loan for your medical history, please call the registry office at (518) 629-4574.
