The Troy Family Health Center
The Troy Familycenter is situated directly opposite Hudson Valley Community College and will welcome you and every member of your hosts. All of our activities include: regular paediatric examinations (examination of infants and young children; examinations at schools, camps and sport facilities); youth health checks; regular health checks for adults and seniors (including yearly health preservation, work, education or health insurances ); preventative vaccinations and vaccinations; and preventative health and well-being benefits, which include prevention of cancers and the advancement of a healthful life -style; and the ongoing treatment of chronically ill health.
It also provides a variety of women's health care facilities, which include yearly pool check-ups, Pap smear tests, pediatric care and other gynaecological care as well. For illnesses, injuries and chronical diseases, an appointment is available on the same date. Roentgen service is available on site. The office is an NCQA Level 3 Patient-Centered Hospital (PCMH).
Healthcare professionals support undergraduates, teachers and employees by supplying them with health information and health services. Health service employees believe that good health is an important factor in achieving their training objectives. For this purpose, the Hudson Valley Bureau looks forward to supporting Hudson Valley undergraduates, teachers and employees in their efforts to maintain the highest levels of health, emotions, mental health and well-being through the provision of the highest levels of health services, training and referral services.
From Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm and on Fridays from 8 am to 4.30 pm, our nursing staff is available to help with injury and regular health advice during the university year. Daylight saving time is from 8.00 to 16.00. A doctor is available to see dependent undergraduates during regular class time.
Ask the health authority about certain times. When you need help, if the health department is not open, please contact your family doctor or your health center. The costs of health services are paid by the health fee. However, radiographs and laboratory tests carried out outside the university are subject to surcharges.
Notice of any violations on site should be submitted to College Health Services, even if the violation seems minor. Exemptions are made in cases where there is a risk to the student or the fellowship.
