Just like the urbanite who has never been to the Empire State Building, many valley dwellers are only remotely conscious of the many skiing and snowboarding areas that we have. "The state has more skiing areas than any other state in the state and is the forth in skiers' visits," says Scott Brandi, Chairman of I-SCI-NY.

We have everything from large and busy Catskills Resort to much smaller businesses in the gentle hilly countryside of East Putnam County and near the Appalachian Trail in Warwick Valley. Soon Brandi has reason to drive through the valley instead of going to Vermont and other points in the northern part.
