FCU Hudson River Teacher changes name to Hudson River Financial
The Hudson River teachers Federal credit union, a $51 million facility in Mohegan Lake, N.Y., has renamed itself Hudson River Financial Federal Kredit Union with immediate effect. "The new name..... better mirrors who we are: a cooperative that serves a wide spectrum of members, wider than just teachers," said Thomas J. Powers Jr., CEO of the cooperative, in a declaration.

As well as providing services to educators in 29 schools in Northwestchester and Rockland County, members of the trade association are also open to all pupils, staff and members of the councils of education in these schools, members of selected trade-union and business organisations and partners in Northwestchester and Rockland County, members of the families of those who are members of such a group and members of those who have left these groups.
Founded in 1938 to assist the staff of government colleges in the municipalities of Hastings-on-Hudson, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, Sleepy Hollow, Ossining, Peekskill, Croton-on-Hudson and Ardsley.
