The Highland is a small village (and a place of census) in Ulster County, New York, USA. The Highland is a municipality in the city of Lloyd, on U.S. Route 9W. Brown-Ellis House and Anthony Yelverton House are registered in the National Register of Historic Places Highland is home to the Class B Baseball Section 9 Champ of 2015.
It is located on the western shore of the Hudson River. The United States Census Bureau states that the CDP has a surface area of 5.1 sq. km (13 km2), of which 4.7 sq. km (12 km2) is owned by property and 0.3 sq. km (0.78 km2) by sea.
