Hudson River Big River Crossing at Overnight with Dinner - World Yacht, New York City Traveller reviews
He knows that I like to see towns from the sea, especially at nigh. It was an awesome trip for you! Dinner was good, not surprising, but good. It was not for the meal, but for the adventure of the trip. It was a cool place on the lower decks, but that was okay, we took some photos and went back to the lower one.
We' ve paid for our steaks, but we didn't object, we knew it before. I' had the BEST amount of BEST to do it again. and we were on this dinner trip around Manhattan Island with mates. It was a wonderful part of the tour, not a story, but the fine skin is always an impress.
It'?s not even good value for money. Yesterday evening we had a great part of the day at the NY Dinner Cruise, but felt silly because we had paid an additional $35 per person for the premium parcel, because we didn't get a good meal and the "open bar" was limited to beers, sodas and a very small choice of very inexpensive wine.
Our team did not comprehend the premium pack and only knew that the good wine was not available to us. Beautiful dinner Cruise, from Pier 81 on the Westside, to the top of Manhattan, out to Liberty Island, then up the East River and back to the Hudson.
A very good meal, good meal, good housewines. The waiter are extremely kind and supportive, although we had paid everything in advance (thanks Robert and Chris!).
NYC 7 Best Dinner Cruises for an elegant night
New York summers call for nights on the roof of New York's pubs, beachfront and dinner cruise. If you can sunbathe in the cold breezes of the Hudson River, why should you be ashore? NYC's best dining places cannot be compared to the food experiences on the canal.
This dinner-cruise will feature prix-fixe menues or buffet-menus on huge three-stage boats, sail tavernas and elegant boats. From Chelsea Piers, Bateaux New York provides a relaxed three-hour, three-course Hudson River Cruise with a panoramic look at the Manhattan sky from a glazed cockpit area. Enjoy a cocktail, drink and beers from a crowded cocktail lounge, while performing music for a sparkling night on board this dinner-cruise.
Hornwallblower spoils its customers with a three-course a la card menu with traditional handcrafted drinks on the air-conditioned sundeck. It' s difficult not to want to get up and go dancing when you pass the New York City landmark like the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the Brooklyn Bridge.
The 160-foot boat docks on Pier 81 and has three of our favourite things: soap bags, an outside decking and an unbelievable view. Although you can have a cocktail on the roof of the lounges when the boat is in the harbour, you should choose the night-time dinner cruise if you want a full 360 degree view of the Manhattan skies.
If you want a bit more beach, try this swimming crayfish cottage on Pier 81. Stretching 9,000 sq ft between the open-air upperdeck and two-story inside restaurant and lounges, and sails every 90 mins, the Destiny meal feature a crude New England Sea fruits such as Maine lobsters, Fisch taco and mussel soup, alongside redwine and whites, bottle beer and summer yard signatures coctails being served through the saucer.
Sailing boats and sushi may not be the most natural choice, but to eat the freshest shellfish while your skipper graciously navigates your boat down the Hudson River at sundown is a pleasant and surprising one. Served by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, this trip offers a meal of nine slices of Sushi and a sandwich coupled with four cool soupflies.
For a relaxed atmosphere, board a Spirit of New York tour on Pier 61. From 1 World's Fair Marina on Pier 1 in Flushing Meadows, this cruising line provides exciting view of the skylines over a cocktail of US cuisines such as ribs, scallops of chickens and lemons filled with crab meat.
The Princess skyline is completely closed and unhindered by bad weathers and offers a cute dinner at the seaside at any moment of the year.
