Atlanta's first seed was sown after General William T. Sherman burned the town in 1864 during the Civil War. Following the cataclysmic battle of Atlanta, these roughnecks promptly attacked the boat straps and began to rebuild their town - the "New South," as they were known.
Atlanta continues to be shaped by this business thinking, the persistence for surviving, the readiness for a new start and the striving for creativity. Atlanta, an ecological, imaginative and busy city, attracted over 50 million people in 2015. Atlanta is an excellent place to visit with a unique visitor flow and a great mix of prestigious culture, world-famous sights and prestigious cuisine.
Pairings get lost in the luxuriant scenery of Atlanta as they drift down the Chattahoochee River or have a barbecue in the city's much-loved Piedmont Park. The majority of people, especially the family, begin their Atlanta experiences in the town. Nearly a kilometer away, the visitor can select from nearly a dozen central locations such as the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola, the Center for Civil and Human Rights, the Children's Museum of Atlanta and the College Football Hall of Famealle surrounding the Centennial Olympic Park.
Shopaholic's line to Buckhead, where luxuries and fashion are. Just a few miles apart are the deluxe Phipps Plaza, Lenox Square Mall and the high-end Buckhead Atlanta shops. Atlanta's culture centre is the most powerful in Midtown - the High Museum of Art, The Fox Theatre, Atlanta Ballet, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Alliance Theatre, Margaret Mitchell House and Piedmont Park, to name but a few.
The best way to get an impression of Atlantas overly enchanting neighbourhoods is on the Atlanta Beltline. Much of the marvelous inns and businesses line these 2. 25 mile winding through Piedmont Park, Historic Fourth Ward Park and the Liberty Park lane.
